That film was a creative work of art. When I saw it at the theater, I don't think I had seen anything like it before. Today, it's just an old film to many people. Back then, it stood out.

I liked the early original films and even the tv series. However once it went cgi I was done.

The first cgi was a clever back story that described how the Planet of the Apes began. I was pumped for what followed, which was lacking.
