1980s and 90s action movie star Jean Claude Van Damme accused of having sex with trafficked women in Romania. Apparently got caught in a organized crime investigation started in 2020

Jean-Claude Van Damme accused of having sex with 5 Romanian women he knew were trafficked

They were said to have been 'a gift' to him. And he knew they were trafficked or where they came from.

Ummm, GUILTY. Who gets 5 woman or girls as a 'gift'?

Somebody's guilty of something here wether it's lying or participating in a sex trafficking ring and/or activities.

If he was not involved in the trafficking, if the women were of legal age I'm wondering why having sex with them would be illegal. I haven't read the story.

For example I don't think it would be illegal if a person had sex with an illegal immigrant.
 

Is anyone fully aware with the local laws and international ones that Romania adheres to?? these places can seem so easy going and charming when you first enter but make sure you understand law and language I would say?

He sort of disappeared around the turn of the century. I just assumed something like cocaine and steroids got the best of him being they were a staple for many athletes and celebrities in the 80s and 90s. Or he got fat or injured.

Always knew drugs were an issue at these celebrity parties but then hearing some of the extremes that went on a Diddy party makes one realize he's not a one off.
 
I honestly am not surprised by anything that occurs in Hollywood, or with members of the so-called elite. Generally, not always, those with inflated egos and a belief that they are untouchable leads to ugly things.
 
I never got so out of sorts that I needed a prostitute. I'm not bragging I have gotten out of sorts. I just toughed it out.
