Two days after the big storm some parts of town were still without electricity.
That’s why it was dark in the home and farm supply store with the exception of a few lights.
So the wife went in for a few minutes but went back out to the car and when I returned to the car I asked her all excitedly “guess who I ran into in there?”
She said “I don’t know who?”
I said “I don’t know either because it was dark in there.”
She said “Oh YOU IDIOT!”

True story? Where are u located?

Didn’t see the question for a long time.
Yes! True! This was at Blains Farm and Fleet in Bourbonnais Il.
About 15 miles from where we live.

They had a few lights on in the main aisles but people still looked like ships passing in the night and you would have had to have a flashlight to find your way around the back areas of the store.
Only time that I have ever seen where they had a person stationed that you had to walk by as you left.
Actually I thought that it was kind of a fun experience. Maybe a fun idea to shop in a dark store once in a while!
