Nursing home forcibly removed me to private room, admittibly a better accommodation.

Lost it. Enough being pig in sty. Lying in own waste for hours at a time while this is known to those who work the floor. Drenched in urine for 2 hours and 10 minutes while aides and nurses slovenly shuffled past me. Later on the same with feces fadded to the mix.

Then my son convinced I am deliberately not eating enough in order to commit suicide……

Quite a day yesterday was.

Had breakdown. Couldn’t stop screaming ENOUGH ! I WANT TO GO HOME

Forcibly removed. Four workers carried me to different floor. Private room. COMMODE.

Don’t have energy to relate in more words. Perhaps I should but perhaps I should also forget. Starting to believe I might see home.

Telling only a fraction but wanted to tell something.

I'm sorry. I know how difficult this is for you. Like the others mentioned, this new room might be the right space to be in. Now if those on that floor have less responsibilities and can give more personal care, you should be returning home soon.

The food sucks. I know. Tell son to bring you something yummy if he's so concerned about how much you're eating.

Like others have said here, maybe it’s best that you have a room to yourself . I also agree with others in asking your son to bring you things you can eat. How is that grandson of yours? The sooner you get better the sooner you’ll be able to see him. I know that’s your favourite thing to do.

When i was in hospital and nursing home, where similarly, the calls for help with toileting go unanswered for literally hours....
The condition of being in badly soiled bed....
It's not conducive to eating.

How does one eat if not cleaned before, and knowing one will not be cleaned after?

This is so true. How does one eat knowing you need to be changed and nobody is there to help? I wouldn’t want to eat either if I knew I’d be sitting there in my own feces for hours.
