2 Things you are good at and 2 you are no good at

I'm a very good cook. I can prepare delicious meals out of limited resources.
I'm also a good jewelry maker and designer. I really enjoy this and love the compliments I receive. After I retire, I may fashion jewelry full time.

I'm not as good as I would like to be at barbecuing on charcoal. It's actually funny. Prepare for ashes all over everything. Like a volcanic eruption.
I could learn more about going along to get along because I never do that and that's the way the rest of the world seems to function.

I'm good at recordkeeping and making sure business is attended to without procrastinating. I don't find cooking an effort, but I usually prepare uncomplicated dishes, since it's just me here and I don't need fancy foods.

Even though I do certain home repairs, if they're big ones, I hire them done. I've always disliked yard work. I do some of it, like trimming hedges, but I pay someone else to do the mowing.

Good: Anything musical. I've played the piano since I was 6, and have sung in choruses all my life. I love performing in musicals, and belong to a musical group here where I live. I also have played the recorder for many years.

I'm pretty good at fixing things, and figuring out electronic devices.

I love to write, especially stories and books for children. I also write a column for our local paper.

OK, that 3 things. I guess that proves I'm not so good at math. 😁

Bad at: Finding my way anywhere without relying on the GPS. I'd be totally lost without it.

Art. Can't draw, paint, or do anything else artistic or craftsy. Except knitting. I can do that pretty well.
