It seems like this blowing up of hotels is a tactic they use. I remember several similar attacks. Yes, it is extremely unstable there. Terrifying.

Yeah there is no figuring why these "tribes" and "forces for good" cannot exist peacefully....I quit trying to figure it...just like the latest hollering about starvaton in Africa/So America...is it
our fault??? It is centuries old issue down there.....imo

poor nation can't maintain stability.

Which is exactly how extremists get power or are tolerated. They were enabled by some in the country/city.

Can't kill an idea or movement but one can it hard to plant and grow their seeds of discontent ie alternatives. The west tried that in the 1990s and it only lasted a couple decades tops.
