For those that love large music concert events like this person, there is no better destination than San Francisco each fall for the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival. A key reason is, it a totally free to attend event. Thus uniquely rare in this commercial era of 3-figure costs at similar concerts. This weekend for instance, the huge Outside Lands festival tickets in the same outdoor park venue has $235 per day lowest cost tickets. This year of 2025, that will be a Friday through Sunday weekend of October 3, 4, and 5.

And within The City, one never needs to rent a vehicle given its world class public transportation network.
