My husband usually takes the morning and late night dog walks while daughter and I take the afternoon and evening. I despise the cold and so will jump on this chance to give my husband a break by taking the morning and afternoon walks.

Ugh. I'm much more partial to 40-50F temps, which I call T-shirt weather.

BUT, there's a good side. The sheet of ice that lay in front of my garage finally melted off yesterday. That sheet of ice was annoying.

After a generally crappy (cold) start to the year, finally getting some spring weather--temperatures going into the 50s and even 60 during the day--it had been mostly mid teens to mid thirties for January and most of February--suburban Maryland, north of Washington.

Going to be another nice day with a high of 64F/18C. We're getting a little bit of rain now, but that's good for making things bloom and green again.

Yesterday, I enjoyed both dog walks and anticipate the same today.

It has been snowing heavily this morning, but is due to stop soon. We have to go out today .. hopefully, the roads will be cleared by then.

It is a lovely 70 degree day here, yesterday the same, enjoyed getting outside for a while...blew leaves off the patio.

About 2 inches of wet snow overnight. Good for making snow sculpture, but sticky to shovel. It's mild enough now that it's rain. Turning colder by Saturday. Had to shovel - I didn't want it to freeze the chunks the street plow leaved at the end of the driveway.
