2025 - How's the Weather Where You Are?

Fire weather. 75°F, winds gusting to 25 mph. 150 acres started around 2:15pm today about 6 miles N of our home. Multiple runs w a VLAT, very large air tanker, a DC-10, from the tanker base 100 miles south. Some helios too.

Point of origin near road leads one to conclude campfire, cig butt, or hot exhaust as source of ignition although we had some lightening about the same time that this fire was reported.

Definitely cooler than it's been lately. Some communities around here are under a frost advisory tonight. Looks like I'll have to cover my plants that are outside or bring inside. Probably only a week or two before I will have to bring them all in for the cold seasons. I have already made space preparations for this.
I've had no luck selling plants I've propagated, so there are many more to tend to than usual. My plants are so happy under my care they have many "babies". I have spider plants, snake plants, basket plants and cacti.

Last three days have brought us rain, ranging from showers to out and out frog stranglers. Starting tomorrow, it's back to sunshine and mid 70s F.
