2025 - How's the Weather Where You Are?

Cold.. and now it's almost 4pm it'll be dark in abut 10 minutes and the roads are damp.. i think it's caused by ice rather than rain..however rain is forecast for soon and overnight ... temps at 7deg !..

Currently here in the boondocks of Borehamwood, it's 10c, dry (almost) but wet underfoot. High cloud coverage but total. Wind around 17mph, gusting to 33mph, from the West South West. It's due to rain at around 6pm but the wind and temp will stay the same. That is according to XCWeather, the channel I use for my flying activities.

Oh, and the pressure is slowly rising from 998mb to around 1004mb by midnight, and then due to slowly revert back to 998 again by tomorrow noon.

I saw on the news yesterday it's been twenty years since we've had a ban of this level of cold in early Dec. Yesterday morning at my house it was eleven degrees Fahrenheit, this morning it was eighteen, I'm already tired of it.

I am pretty tolerant of lousy weather, but I gotta say I am on my very last nerve with two-plus weeks of cloud cover and cold/damp. I feel like I’m back home on the OH/PA border.

At 7:00 AM morning it was at least 35° when I was at the barn washing out water tubs, but the cold dampness was freezing my fingertips so I had to put my SSG gloves on. They are not made for doing intricate work, thankfully taking a brush to the water tubs is not intricate.

It is going on 11 AM now and the sun is trying very hard to push its way through the clouds. I don’t know if it’ll succeed. We are supposed to see a high of 45° today. If the sun can’t get through the clouds, that is going to be a push🥶🥶

Cold here, really cold. weaher says 10 and there is a good layer of snow on the ground. I don't know what's on the way but I bet it won't be warm.
