The storm here in the Pacific NorthWET showed up about an hour late but it's a strong one. Rain is pounding on my windows and the wind is making the big trees dance. Supposed to continue until 8PM tonight. No doubt the region is likely to experience major flooding again. The rivers haven't receded from the storm a little over a week ago.

Heard the temperature got up to 43c here in the western suburbs. Now a storm is on its way, hope it cools thing down.

Yesterday's major storm ended around 9PM last night. Right now the wind is calm and it isn't raining. However clouds are starting to move in and rain is predicted for this afternoon through next week. Temp was 36F when I got up but is up to 40F right now. Flooding widespread around the region.

The power company put our lines underground last Summer so we didn't lose our electricity yesterday despite all the wind.
