Sunny with cumulus clouds here and there. A little warmer (21F) than yesterday at this time, but still pretty cold. Not predicted to get above freezing for at least another week. Saturday night is going well below zero again.

Yesterday we walked on the beach in San Francisco with the temperature in the high 60’s but it felt warmer. Sunny, clear and very little wind. Will have to wait to see what today brings.

Actually, not too bad for early February here. 30F and sunny now, but Arctic cold and snow for the weekend- we're under an EXTREME cold alert.
Isn't that better than that sweltering heat and humidity of summer?

The car thermometer when I went for groceries this morning read -6. Forecast for wind chill this weekend is for -15 to -30. I don't think there's ever been a wind chill here of -30 in my lifetime. I am *so* over this!

No.. and I preferred NY's summer over this area's storms and tornadoes.. even when it isn't actually doing anything, the 'threats' and 'warnings' are almost always there..
