One of my local meteorologist is saying the weather is now a 400 mile connected line along the east coast and nobody in that area is supposed to be driving unless they are an essential worker.

The sister of a lady On My Horse Forum packed her bags and left yesterday in order to get to the hospital. She even called the state troopers to give them her path of travel, as the roads are so icy. She packed a four day bag just in case she’s at the hospital for that many days

Meanwhile, I found this weather map.

prayers to all of those who are caught up in this snow Easter, and also the Alberta clipper that is sweeping down, both seemingly at the same time🙏🙏🙏🙏

So far, we've had about 27 inches of snow. It's still coming down, but very lightly now, so if those back bands of the nor'easter don't do an about turn, we should be just about done. NJ hasn't seen snow like this in several years.

I hope you don’t lose power or have a way to stay warm if you do🙏🙏

I am watching the Weather Channel while I get ready to go to the barn. This segment they are in or near Boston. It is one fugly mess.

I just hope you don’t lose power🥶🥶

It is 22° with the feels like of 9° at my place. That is way below normal for my area. I am sick to death of it, but I need to shut up because it’s nothing compared to what you and other folks on the Atlantic coast are experiencing.

We are having a bonafide blizzard. This is the first time I've had snow on my screen in a very long time. They kept upping the totals; the first forecast of snow last week was for 4 - 6 inches, then 6 - 10 inches, now it's 12 - 14 inches in northern N.J. This picture was taken at 3:30 a.m. Blizzard conditions still in effect. @Lewkat My goodness that's a lot of snow!! I hope you don't lose power.

Same here/

I'm about 200 miles north of NYC. I think it's going to be worse along the coast. Upstate may get away with a few inches.
that always amazes me... that you could be so far from your major city.... if we were 200 miles away from the major town or city in our area we'd likely be in a different country..lol
