23andMe website overloaded with deletion requests

My youngest daughter is into dredging up family history. We get at least one call a week from her about such n such did something. I usually ignore any family history. She was very pesky asking for my DNA swab. I finally relented, Sent my sample, turned out to be unusable. What no history of royalty ties? I could do it again if I would like. I refused to try again much to my daughter's dismay. I tried to explain my misgivings to her. I just refused & don't bother me again. It's your thing.

I don't want somebody to have access to my history. What's happened, happened. Leave me to my beliefs. I care less about my ancestor's quirks & history as anyone.

The thing I worry about 23&Me going bust is not what my DNA says about me, now; but what my DNA will mean to others in the future.
This. By summiting DNA those who are a direct bloodline now have family/their dna is a data base. A relative you never saw in life could be affected or visa versa.

I would never consent to the use of my medical record for any research by a "for profit" organization, without being properly compensated.
