3 inch heels...last time you wore a pair?

LadyEmeraude

You may call me EM 😊
I was 55 years old the last time I wore 3-inch heels, I am 69 years old now.
These are not really that high for back then. I really enjoyed them but had
to of course be selective for when and how long I wore them....an event, dinner
etc... something dress up, or for an occasion. *I could wear them now if I did not
have to walk at all lol. No longer suitable for my legs or feet and balance.

How about you ladies, did you like or dislike them, maybe still like wearing them...

Men, did you enjoy it when your lady wore/wears heels?

At least forty years ago........I actually preferred the platformed for comfort. Had great pairs of Huaraches and Espadrilles, they were comfortable and gave me needed height as I used to be 5'4". Need height more now at only five feet tall, but can no longer wear them.

About 20 years ago, when I went to my cousin's daughter's wedding. By the end of the night I was in such pain I wanted to crawl to my car on my hands and knees. Even after I got my shoes off, walking hurt really bad even on soft carpet. Luckily, the next day I was okay, but I never put on a pair of high heels again.

I last wore my 3 inch black suede stilettos 3 years ago this Christmas, we always used to go to a hotel for Christmas Day but, since covid arrived, we prefer to have Christmas at my home

Although I still dress for the occasion there’s no way I’m prancing round my own home in high heels !

I wore a pair of heels almost every day to work in my 60s, and only a few times after I retired at 67. Keep in mind 3 inch heels are not the 6 or 7 inch stilettos....I never wore them, ever.

Now when I go out it is either in pumps or wedge heels. I am most comfortable in wedges, with that little lift for me.

Back in my 20s and 30s I wore high heels to work every day. I worked in downtown Chicago and had to catch a bus to get to the train, and I had to RUN in my heels to get on the bus and then RUN through Union Station to catch the last train home. Wow, the things I used to do that I never gave a thought about...who knew how things would change!
