I started Open Water Certificate training with PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) an independent instructor with no computer experience, who planned to grant certification to me below open water certification. I stopped training with him and transferred to a different PADI facility where I was to begin in May the following year.

I had gallbladder surgery and was ill prepared to pick up where I left off and before failing the course I opted to start over with a different scuba diving certification organization; Scuba Diving International. The third scuba diving certification facility catered to technology diving using tech gear, including dry suits, and back inflate BCDs that were problematic to me. I bought a dry suit through them but they didn't train me how to use it. Finally, they gave up on me altogether, gave me a partial refund and I enroll at the facility I am now.

What a difference learning at the new facility. I am learning everything that was not taught but should have been.
