5 Million have not gotten their 2nd vaccine shot.

I wonder if a majority of the makeup of these 5 million people is tied to second thoughts?

Second thoughts that maybe they shouldn't have even bought into the first round...

Or maybe with more and more troubling information coming out in the wash from day-to-day, people have now changed-up their notions as to being vaccinated...

I know people who got sick or know of others that got sick after their vaxes. Really sick. And they regret just not taking their chances with the actual virus. That's not the only reason. I guess some figure something is better than nothing along with being used to a single dose vax.Or remember how hard getting that first shot was. Throw in stuff like you have to mask up even after vax nah people aren't buying in no matter how many or which celebrities promote the vax.

I know a few that regretted getting the 1st shot and decided against getting the 2nd one, for various reasons, one was made sick by the first shot, another just changed their mind. Others may have just gotten confident ( overconfident ? ) in believing that shot #2 isn't needed. Probably other reasons as well.

I read that if you got the 2nd shot at a different location or a brand new vaccination site, it often was not counted in the system so there could be a lot fewer than we are told. Also when some people went back for their 2nd shot, the pharmacy only had the other brand (Walgreens was mentioned specifically about being bad about this). Then people had to try to find the correct brand.

About 5 million people in the US have not gotten their second covid vaccine shot.

JMO but I can understand why. A lot of people got really sick from the first and second one. One lady dr informed her not to take the 2nd shot. My hubby was very reluctant to take the 2nd one - he had issues with the first one but went ahead and took the second one the other day. I will keep a close eye on him. I have several friends that became very ill after the second vaccine. Everyone is different and I do understand some people had no problems which is GREAT. I heard a podcast where a doctor was speaking on the vaccine. He mentioned that people blood type may have a lot to do with how well or poorly they do with getting the vaccine.

That begs the question, "which blood types do well and which do poorly?" Or is this one of those things where you have to listen to 20 minutes of them telling you "I'll tell you the answer but first let me tell you this..." only to find out at the end of the 20 minutes, they tell you that you have to buy their book to get the answer ☺️

I'm sure some are ones who simply don't want them...some maybe waiting for safer versions or something that's actually FDA approved. Some probably had the first shot and got sick as hell and won't do the 2nd.

If they offer us a booster at work I'm gonna take it. I will gladly report what happens from that if you guys want me to just for the sake of knowing. I will continue to get vaccinated as long as I don't have any serious reactions to it. First time something bad goes down will be the last if it doesn't kill me. If it does...*shrugs*

Blood type O does well, blood type A not so well. I've also read and seen videos by doctors that said people with type O blood seem to be more resistant to the covid-19 virus; symptoms are relatively mild and last for about a week, sometimes only days.

States Scale Back Vaccine Orders As Interest In Shots Wanes
https://www.msn.com ^ | 5/8/2021 | By HEATHER HOLLINGSWORTH and TODD RICHMOND, Associated Press
States asked the federal government this week to withhold staggering amounts of COVID-19 vaccine amid plummeting demand for the shots, contributing to a growing U.S. stockpile of doses.
From South Carolina to Washington, states are requesting the Biden administration send them only a fraction of what's been allocated to them. The turned-down vaccines amount to hundreds of thousands of doses this week alone, providing a stark illustration of the problem of vaccine hesitancy in the U.S.
More than 150 million Americans — about 57% of the adult population — have received at least one dose of vaccine, but government leaders from the Biden administration down to the city and county level are doing everything they can to persuade the rest of the country to get inoculated.
