Suboxone, a combination medication containing buprenorphine and naloxone, is one of the main medications used for medication-assisted therapy (MAT) for opiate addiction.

Unfortunately, within the addiction community and among the public at large, certain myths about Suboxone persist, and these myths add a further barrier to treatment for people suffering from opiate addiction.

In our province of 5 million, we had 176 deaths because of illicit drugs in April, 2021.

There are an average of 66 overdose calls per day. Some may not be called because friends carry Naloxone.

It’s a hell of a mess.
 
It's tragic, we've lost the war on drugs, our countries are full of drug addicts.
