Hi everyone. My wife and I are close to a "part time" retirement. We are both AF retirees, are working full time, and are in pretty good health. We don't have any debt other than our home in NYS, have few ties to the area, and are ready to start our next adventure. We are researching work from home or internet based work so we can travel and still pay bills. Looks like there is a plethora of info here... I'm looking forward to learning from everyone's experience and becoming part of the community! 🤓

Spent nearly 10 years near Wichita falls... Might even end up there again. Howdy back!

The sooner you can retire the better I love it!

Welcome and thank you both for your service. I spent 10+ retirement years traveling this beautiful country of ours in a small but very comfortable motorhome.

It isn't for everyone but if you love travel and don't have deeply entrenched roots in a particular area, it's a wonderful life. I made great memories that still keep me company on slow days. I saw most of this country including Alaska, most of Canada and bits and pieces of Mexico all from the driver's seat of my RV. Did my own driving and navigating and loved every minute of it.

Hi Sue... we're from the Corning area. How's your zoo? We took my dad and niece to the Rochester zoo lay Sunday. It was very nice, but small.
