I found this clip a short time ago. At approximately 01:30 you can see Walter Cronkite start to choke up. It's very moving.

I was in fifth grade in Mr. Becker's class when he announced the assassination and that school was let out for the rest of the day. I, along with other students, didn't realize the implications of this tragedy.

I remember watching this on TV as it happened.

I remember seeing Oswald get shot. I was in the tv section at Kmart and it was blaring on all of the TV's.

I'll always think Oswald wasn't the lone guy behind this assassination scheme. Maybe if Oswald had lived, we might have found out more. Dead man tells no tales. I would think if somebody shot the president, that the assailant would have been guarded better. That Jack Ruby so easily did it, is telling. He had nothing to lose because he knew he was dying of cancer.
