As an 'adopted Scot' I can relate to almost all of these.

I can relate to #8: Oh my gawd, I just love your accent. Say something Scottish.
Here tourists love to approach locals and ask them to say something like a Mainer. I've cringingly observed it more times than I can count. If you ask a working fisherman for this, you can imagine what the response might be.
