we live on an explosive planet with a fluid molten core and varying weather conditions from pack ice to barren waterless deserts - and yet it is all we have - not much fun is it really??

I wonder why we are hearing more often about
earthquakes, are they really more frequent, or is
the reporting of them better.

If they are more frequent, what is causing the
uplift in numbers, maybe the warmer ambient
temperature is causing the oceans to spread
more and put extra weight on land where it is
not wanted, could this put a sideways thrust on
the landmass?

Too many people on the Northern Hemisphere,
this might be another contributing factor.

R.I.P. any dead from this.

Mike.

After those countries that let off atom bombs under the ocean or in deserts it's a wonder some countries haven't imploded.,
what are we doing to this beautiful country?

My friend's son is currently in Japan, he just arrived on Monday. The tsunami warning has been lifted. 87,000 are without power in Taiwan.

There are 9 reported deaths, at least 1,000 injured and people trapped in a quarry & under the debris of decimated structures. What a terrifying event.
