Eight Canadians soldiers, all brothers from one Nova Scotia family, served overseas during WW2. Their family name was Harvie. Their local community has just unveiled a memorial to their service for Canada.
Of the 8 brothers, 2 were killed overseas, and buried in Europe. Six others survived the war, and returned to live in their small town.
Here is a link that describes the service of the men of the Harvie family.
