Bee Gees - My World 1972
So many brilliant songs, especially from the 60s and early 70s.wot as group heh - from UK to OZ!
I'm not a big fan of the Bee Gees, but that song is very nice. I'd never heard it until now.Bee Gees - My World 1972
Only Barry the eldest is still alive. I just read he was born 1st September 1946 so that will make him 80 years old this year.OMG. I assume all three of them are dead by now.
,,,and he should stop singing because in truth he sounds terrible.... ,,Only Barry the eldest is still alive. I just read he was born 1st September 1946 so that will make him 80 years old this year.
My favourite Bee Gees songs were all those from the 60s and early 70s.Ive always been a fan of the Bee-gees.. they're another English band who spent a few of their formative years in Australia.... and became a ban when they were kids...
I've followed their career since the 60's...
How Their parents coped with at first all 4 including their youngest brother Andy, being addicted to drink or drugs and watching them destroy themselves I'll never know..it must have been horrible for them, and then to watch three of them die early deaths... maybe expected by them of course..
For many year th relationship between the brothers was totally fractious, there was hardly ever a time when all of them were at ease with each other. Mostly there would only be Robin & Maurice speaking to each other.. or Barry speaking to Maurice... Barry & Robin had a terrible sibling relationship later in life ... both fought for top spot as songwriters , but they were consumate proffesionals and never let it affect their performing
Only Barry and their sister remains alive today.
I have many favourite BG songs.. except the late 70's I couldn't stand the songs from Grease or Saturday night fever
