A cabinet surprised me

I removed all the contents of this cabinet with the idea of moving it out from the wall and cleaning behind it. The previous owner left it and I assumed it was liek all the other cabinets I've had contact with. I grabbed the sides and went to pull on it and found out it's in two sections. I had the top half in my hands and had to set it back on the bottom part. I never heard of a cabinet in this style being a 2-piece. Does anyone have an experience with this style?

you mean the corner cabinet ?... yes we had one when we were first married, makes it so simple to move....
