A cancer status update

My late husband had a surgery 'large sized tumor' on the left side of his brain. His memory along with other related function improved. But, an MRI found 'lung cancer' which actually metastized to the brain.
He had always 'hacking cough' right after getting up from the bed. He was born 'weak lung,' and nothing else had done. He ultimately passed away after 3-1/2 months battle with cancer. So, as his wife and caregiver, I know very well about what is like to be a loved one with Cancer.

Try to be strong and need a good faith and determination to overcome cancer,

Hopefully, your cancer getting better and live longer!!:)(y)

My surgeon said he couldn't find any cancer on Thursday's visit. He didn't say I am cured and warned me that new tumors may show up.

His plan for me is regular checks (next one in four months). When new tumors show up he will "mow the lawn" meaning further surgery. No more chemical treatment for the time being.

It's good news. At least I should be around long enough to see my 81st birthday this year. Of course he told me this once before and then changed his mind but I'll thankfully take any offer of extra days
