I decided to make my turkey/spinach/pasta casserole. Put the pasta to boil in my Dutch oven and set the timer. The timer, for some reason didn't ding. When I remembered to check on the pasta, it had boiled over. What a mess! Starchy water all over the stovetop and dripped down the front of the stove and onto the floor. Where it had contacted the burner was a black hard residue. Good thing I have a closed-top range. Most of he noodles were a gelatinous mass in the bottom of the pot. Spent 20 minutes cleaning up. I managed to rescue some pasta, so I could continue cooking the casserole.
