A friend was murdered

I don't know either. Crazy is just my speculation, since I never heard anything about the trial. But Crazy covers a huge subset of strange behaviors. Most crazy people don't murder anyone.
 
I'm sorry for the loss of your friend. He must've been in contact with you or someone while the horrible ordeal was was going on. I mean the charging at his bumper over and over. It's so sad for the world 🌎 to lose such a good guy!

I keep asking myself what is wrong with this world. One of the things I have come up with is people copycatting each other's mad actions and murders. I've also come up with things like the media showing us horrible things people do.

I don't know what is really wrong with the world but think it's many negative things and people not caring what they do.

These sort of things rarely happened 60 years ago. Now it's becoming the kind of world where murder is the norm and not enough is being done to change it. I have felt despair living in a world 🌎 like this and wish I could be elsewhere.

Sorry for your loss. But my money is on tweakers. No matter where you go, there are tweakers everywhere. I talked to a childhood friend recently, who still lives where we grew up, and he said our hometown has grown to 1,100 for the 800 people who lived there when we were kids. And now, the village (it ain't even a town) has been overrun by tweakers.
 
I know quite a few people who have been murdered and have murdered. It's a nasty reality of life. That's why my head is always on swivel and I don't fool myself in thinking crime won't happen to me.

Yup, the world has gone crazy... at least in the stated you are jailed... here in Canada, they are protected from the Young Offenders Act... If YOU are old enough to do the crime, you are old enough to do the time... So many young people do the crime here, get all charged, fingerprinted, mug shot... and back out on the streets in a matter of hours... it's just wrong...
 
Me too... I have to spell check every post, lest I look like an ignorant hillbilly. But you know what they say about the apples fall near the tree and all that. I also have a really bad habit of forgetting entire words, which has been known to change the entire meaning of what I was saying.

Trivia bit....There is a small town in the Niagara region in Ontario called Weedsport. Could it be a suburb of Weedpatch ?

Another southern Ontario odd place name...Punky Doddle Corners. We also have a Swastika in northern Ontario, and a Place in Quebec called St Catherine Du Ha! Ha! And my all time western Canadian favorite town name Buffalo Jump. Which is close to Head Smashed In.

In Newfoundland there is Dildo Island and Come By Chance, Heart's Content, and Wreck House, all small places. JIM.
