...Childbirth being the second most agonising pain for a human...only second to Cluster headaches.....and 9 times more painful than a heart attack...

For the analysis, participants were asked to rate the intensity of pain they felt when suffering the problem on a scale of 0 to 10.

Surprisingly, childbirth came in at only 7.2.

Patients unlucky enough to be shot with a gun gave the experience an average of 6 on the pain scale.

Surgeons have previously reported pain from gunshot wounds varies significantly depending on the location of the shot, with the stomach, back, groin and neck considered to be particularly agonising due to the concentration of nerves.

Slipping a disc, also called a disc herniation, where soft tissue between the bones of the spine bulges out and presses on nerves, was just a fraction less painful than getting shot coming in at 5.9.

Migraines ranked eight, with a score of 5.4, followed by fibromyalgia — a condition believed to be linked to misfires in the nervous system.

Heart attacks only came in at a 5, just below breaking a bone, and the same as sciatica, a condition where a nerve that runs from your lower feet to your back becomes painfully compressed.

This meant both conditions narrowly beat getting stabbed which only came in a 4.9 — though much like gunshot wounds the pain of such injuries can vary significantly on location.

Cluster headaches are a rare and poorly understood condition that affect an estimated 65,000 people in Britain.

The headaches cause a severe, sharp, burning or piercing pain, usually on one side of the head, around the eye.

The worst type of pain you can feel, according to science

I have had neither, nor do I plan to have a baby or gunshot wound to prove a point.
As far as being all part of god's plan is BS. There is no plan, nor does god exist outside of one's consciousness. With that said; years of conditioning has led many to believe in a supernatural deity called god simply because there are no other explanations for unknown events that we do not know how to explain.

God is the catch-all explanation for things that happen; why does the sunrise in the morning and why is there darkness at night? These were once known only to god until Man became aware of the earths rotation around the sun and the moon's orbit around the earth.

The concept of god has metamorphasized from multiple gods representing the stars on Mount Olympus to a s single all-encompassing god that claims omnipresence, omnipotence and all knowing simply because humans do not have all the answers to life and the universe yet, if we ever will. Until humans are able to figure things out for themselves some rely on god to supply the answers to mankind's ignorance.

....I can believe it, after all these years, I still remember the agonizing pain.
I thought it was the worst pain imaginable until I had part of a lung removed. The pain was So Intense I couldn't move, couldn't speak, definitely couldn't have screamed. Was frozen in harsh agony.

Unless you're shot in the uterus.
