A Hard Day's Night, 60 Years Later

Paladin1950

Still love 50's & 60's music!
Earlier today, I was watching A Hard Day's Night on TCM. As I was watching, I was totally stunned that it has been 60 years since this film came out. I was a 14 year old boy. I noticed some familiar names in the cast. John Bluthal (Frank Pickle in The Vicar of Dibley), one of George's former wives, Phil Collins, Charlotte Rampling and others. How time flies.

I was 8 or 9 years old. I mostly remember Patti Boyd and how completely lovely she was. All around it was a fun movie. Lots of energy. :giggle:

George and Patti met on set ❤️ I idolized her; loved her make-up, her clothes.

I was 9... I was in a Children's group home during that period . Our ''Aunties'' loved the Beatles so they took us little kids to see a Hard day's night.. and Help. In retrospect it was probably the only way they could get to see if for free.... of course it all went straight over the heads of us kids...
