A little brain teaser

1 fish and 1/2 is equal to 3 halves.

so 3 halves cost 1.5 cents or .015 each half would cost .015 divided by 3 or .05 cents per half

6 fish are equal to 6 x 3 or 18 halves. 18 halves then would be 18 x .05 = 9 cents.

Yep, you flunked! First off: 3 halves of fish cost 1.5 cents. Each half costs .5 cents. Six fish are TWELVE halves. 12X.5=SIX CENTS!

There may be a big surprise ahead, but I guessed 6 cents, too. Six fishes means six whole fishes, unless specified otherwise. Six half fishes would be 3 cents.

six cents is the answer...it's just a simple little math problem...most people think too hard to try and get the answer...just relax people...

Trouble is I over thought it...my first instinct was 6 cents, then I thought there must be a catch and guessed 9..I kinda knew that was wrong.. so i was right in my head the first time!!
