A lovely address to the Yale Medical School

What's lovely about her address? She's a very maniacal person who is close to lunacy. What was Yale thinking? I know that most of the Ivy League schools have gone woke, but this is kind of over the top, I think.
 

I wonder why the Yale administration would allow one with psychotic hostility to lecture students?
I know we all have (SO FAR) freedom of speech and it's SO IMPORTANT to uphold this!
College graduates would have discrimination to judge for themselves the credibility of the speaker.

The quality of thought is more important than anyone knows!
It saddens me to know people are sending thoughts and words like this out into the already vulnerable world.

I was being sarcastic. By the way, this woman is a psychotherapist by trade.

I've seen some school teachers with this same attitude. Middle-school and high-school students are recording these teacher's racist rants and posting them on youtube. It's shocking.

I wonder if they check over speeches before delivered..probably not if this speech occurred...

I believe it can with enough support of those involved at the top.

Let's face it, anyone spewing off such hatred directed at a race of people, IMO constitutes her removal from serving the public, as I would deem the general public now being in danger.

With any luck she damaged her reputation (if she ever had one) permanently.
 
There is another aspect to this though.
We have to uphold the right of FREE SPEECH, even if we don't like what they say.
The first Amendment is collapsing
The president said on April 28, 2021, " No amendment to the Constitution is absolute."
Does free speech also uphold hostility? If so, Who is to judge what is hostile and what is not?

So true...IMO there is nothing worse than silencing speech. We need to know what everyone everywhere is thinking!

I believe when one is a licensed professional, ethics now figure in, you're held more accountable, to a higher level.

Free speech as someone off the street knows it, isn't as free for those in this bracket.

Just my take on it.
