There was this garden statue my Dad gave me some time ago. Concrete or clay I'm not sure, about three feet high of a little Victorian girl holding a kitten over a Mama cat. The size and weight it ended up next to our fireplace. A chair in front and it kind of was forgotten.
The other day I started cleaning the living room to the walls and found this statue. Apparently she fell over a few times. Her head had gotten knocked off and majorly chipped. But I decided to salvage her. I have a full paintbox. Playdough is a safe filler for missing parts. They have putty at the hardware store but that crap is dangerous.
Just playdough...as it dries it shrinks, you have to touch up the paint every other day. But I'll post the pictures when I'm done. I'm giving her a whole new life. She was basically a flat brown black originally. I'm jazzing her with subtle color...what fun!!!
