A new SITCOM on AMC : "Kevin Can F**k Himself"

I kind of skimmed through it. It seems utterly ridiculous and like @Judycat said, it's like a "caricature of a bad marriage" that might be more fitting for a cartoon series than a sitcom. It could even work as a play. And it seems to be set in present day, but the party lifestyle seems reminiscent of the 80s. And why is the wife subservient to the husband? He's not rich or good looking, so WTF? And she dreams of a nicer house. That house they're in seems pretty nice, if you ask me. In this day and age, it would sell for well over half-a-million dollars. She works in a liquor store and he's a cable installer. They'd be lucky to afford a unit in a duplex.

Well crap, the clip got privatized, or whatever. But I watched an overview on youtube. I won't be watching the series. I don't even think the premise is relevant to the times. Maybe it would have been relevant back in the 80s or 90s. I don't know any women who accept the notion that this is a man's world. I was single most of my adult life, and dated a lot of women. Exceptionally few of them were the type portrayed in this series. Nearly all of them recognized their own worth. Maybe that's just the type I was attracted to, idk.

She wants what she wants and believes with all her heart the myth that states she has the right to own the American Dream. Kevin's holding her back by spending all their life savings on sports memorabilia, so murdering his sorry a** is perfectly reasonable, 'cause she's too tired and stressed out to do anything else, even though her gawky ignorance is really what's responsible for where she is in life. Poor thing. 🙄

This is where I need a Like choice that says "whoa". Yikes.
