A newbie from Scotland saying Hello

Thanks, Phoenix! Last couple of days I've been battling the flu which I caught when I visited my husband at the Medical Center where he's in Hospice. Most of the medical facilities in the area have been beset by flu so one has to enter such places with caution. Hope you and yours are well.

Seems I haven't been able to get back here much, either! It is garden season, and when one grows as much of her own food as possible, it's tough to even get online after a long work day. lol - I don't bounce back like I did a few years ago.
 
I know, I've got the gardening bug as well. My problem is I don't have much of a garden to grow produce in so have to be content with growing in containers. That's the easy bit, it's the lugging them around is my problem, plus I get overenthusiastic and grow too much. I do have a greenhouse and it wouldn't be the same without tomatoes:) I like to know what I'm eating and don't like the whole concept of the supermarket's uniform fruit and veg, possibly being blasted with radiation to keep them looking fresher longer.

l also enjoy gardening. Just going out now to work on them. Last year I built my first greenhouse and I love it.
