A nice afternoon

We took some masks that I made to friends. We sat on their back porch, 10 feet apart, and visited for about an hour. It was so nice. We were in the fresh air, and we just talked, a little about the quarantine, but mostly other things. I want to be back to normal so bad.

I hear you, Carol. I miss being able to hug our daughter and son-in-law, and play with their dog. We get out for drives, and walks, but it's not the same as just being able to freely do whatever we wish. Hang in there .. at least we have this forum where we can share our feelings.

OH yes I know what you mean... . We went out today simply to get out and walk around our local area in the sun, mainly to celebrate my birthday which was 2 days ago ... . We live rurally so there's lots of fields and farmland, and streams and rivers we can walk with barely anyone, or no-one at all on them, and it's very easy to stay yards apart from people.. up to 50 or 100 feet ...plus we had our masks too when we did come across and unexpected group of people in one part of a large park near the river... but it was just heavenly to be out in the sun, and the fresh air , and be walking and getting exercise instead of climbing the walls with cabin fever...

I took a whole load of pictures as I always do, and I'll post them tomorrow on the photo thread.. but here's just one to show how distanced we were almost everywhere we went.... from other people...
