A Nice Walk ( with photos )

I looked up Kamooka Australia just to see if I could get more photos and these are the photos I got. Here’s the view I got of the koomba air rail car View attachment 419279View attachment 419278View attachment 419280

I also got a waterfalls photo that looks almost like yours. They must have taken it from the same angle and the same season.

And here’s the three sisters. What a beautiful place it is. It’s magnificently magical. Thanks again for showing us something so awesome.

Katoomba ..…. @PeppermintPatty :):)
Katoomba Area

We just refer to the area as the blue mountains

I said to hubby I wonder….just how much/ many wildlife/ flora and fauna is in that area that’s never been discovered by man …..a spider was discovered last year in Sydney ( near blue mountains ) that had never been seen before

Today is sunny and 10 degrees Celsius. We went to the park. We had some people with big dogs behind us so went a different way to avoid them. Oddly enough at the exact same time they also went a different way. Their dogs were barking at ours..

Today is 15 degrees Celsius and sunny with a mix of clouds. We went to the ATV trail that follows the Atlantic Ocean. We saw 6 people today. One couple speed walking, another older couple with a dog, a young guy driving a trail bike and another woman walking by herself.

Here is my husband resting on a bench overlooking the ocean. IMG_8587.jpegIMG_8595.jpeg
Here’s a needed bridge IMG_8597.jpeg
Here’s a cottage turned into a shack over the years.

Here’s the scenic road on the way back

Our walk was 5 kilometres in total.
We saw a crow chasing an eagle. For some reason it did a nosedive onto the eagle and then flew away. I wish I could have filmed it.

Today started out sunny but turned to an overcast day later on. When we went for a walk, it was 9 degrees Celsius and cloudy.
It WAS, however, a nice day. We went on the school trail. It’s a 3.5 kilometre trail. We met 3 people , 2 with dogs and 1 funny guy who was by himself. He thought it was funny that we stepped off the trail to let him go by. We do that for everyone and usually put our dogs on their leash because they are supposed to be leashed at all times. We let them off the leash when there’s nobody around.

Today we also had some close encounters with some wildlife. We saw deer close by.
IMG_0565.jpeg
They are very camouflaged.
This snake I almost stepped on. My husband put his arm out to stop me from walking on it. A good thing cause I’d hate to have hurt any wild animal. Here’s a close up of it. It’s well camouflaged also.

Heres a close up of a bald eagle on the way to our walk. It was on someone’s cottage front lawn rummaging around, probably looking for food. I think it’s the closet we’ve gotten to one.

Today was 15 degrees and foggy. We walked around the Atlantic Ocean.

The sun burned through the fog and finally came out . The tide was fairly high today so we didn’t spend much time on the beach.

On the way back I took pictures of someone’s free range chickens. They stayed as still as can be until we passed.
Smart chickens.

Today was 15 degrees and cloudy. We had to go into town to get a part so decided to do the forest walk. We saw a family of four today and they didn’t have a dog. What? 🙃

The snow is finally gone. Now we are getting plenty of spring showers that will bring May flowers.

There’s a lot of moss in this forest. It’s quite damp.
IMG_8658.jpeg
On the way back I took a photo of the low hanging clouds which I thought looked really pretty.

IMG_8650.jpegI also took some photos of some neighbourhood highland cows.
Here’s a full grown one.

IMG_8643.jpegAnd here’s a baby one. I find them very cute.

Have a fabulous day.
