A Nice Walk ( with photos )

It rained early this morning taking most of humidity away. It was 23 degrees Celsius and sunny when we went for our walk. We went to the park. There were a lot of boats in the water today.

We met 3 other people walking their dogs. I think most of them were campers looking for a nice place to walk their dog.

IMG_0142.jpegIMG_0149.jpegHere is our walking trail today.
I hope you all have a wonderful day.

I made a mistake and added my walking post to my gardening thread.
Today we went into the city and walked a bit further than we did the day before yesterday.
It was 21 degrees, sunny with a nice breeze coming off the ocean.

Today we went to the provincial park to walk our dogs. It was 23 degrees and sunny. We take a fold up bowl so we can stop at water taps to give our dogs so water to drink or splash some on their back. We saw several boats. We walked about 3 kilometres metres. Today we had to take our dogs in to have them groomed so their routine was all off.
We took them for a walk first down by the beach.

Anyway, the place we take them has fish farming. There are fish crates under water for keeping them.

Today we found a new walk. It was 18 degree Celsius and sunny. This walk was a gravel road leading to a fenced high voltage power lines with a house at the end of it. It was only a 4 kilometre walk but it was a lovely walk. There was a nice breeze coming in from the sides . Unfortunately there isn’t lot to show you all. IMG_0184.jpegIMG_0187.jpegIMG_0188.jpeg
The walk was very peaceful. ☮️
We are going to be more resourceful when it comes to our walks. We will look for alternative routes. Tomorrow we’ve got a new walk all lined up. Have a nice day ‘ya all.

@PeppermintPatty
I so much enjoy looking at your pictures. It is such a beautiful place!
Thank you so much for sharing.
Do your dogs like to swim or just walk?
What type of fish are they fish farming?
Thank you Rossana.
Neither of our dogs like to swim. The oldest one likes to get water dumped on her back when it’s hot but that’s about it. She’ll go in the water and just stand there waiting for her servants to tend to her. Lol!
Sea water Trout is being farmed.

Today we found another new walk to go on. It wasn’t the most exciting walk. It was a country gravel road and the one thing roads like this have are loads of deer flies. Deer flies are those big flies that land on you and take a chunk of skin off you. Luckily I didn’t get bit but our youngest dog did. They wouldn’t leave him alone. Poor thing. Next walk we go on a gravel road, I shall bring some apple cider vinegar in a spray bottle. It really works. IMG_0197.jpegBefore the walk on the way there, we saw the black angus cows getting their feed.

Here is the sign. Somebody’s has added a Hat and a bouquet of flowers.

Someone has added a place to walk down with a ladder to get up and down for swimming.

I can’t get enough of seeing this water shore

Today is 23 degrees and sunny. We went to the park and took our foldable water dish so we could give our dogs some water and splash some on their backs to help keep them cool. They like that, especially our older one.

We saw a small group of people 🐟 fishing at the channel. They were fishing for mackerel.
We also saw several boats.

Then we saw a grey heron hoping to get left overs from mackerel Fish cleaning.

On the way home there was another sailboat out in the bay just before turning into our driveway.

These photos were exceptional! Keep them coming!

Well my husband really surprised me by saying he’d like to go for a walk today. We chose the provincial park since the roads are so well maintained and walked further than first expected. We went for our regular 45 minute walk. There were still campers enjoying their vacation. We forgot to bring our punch out water bowl for our dogs but they weren’t thirsty at all.

My husband was fine after his walk which I’m so relieved about. He wore his tens unit while walking . In fact he has that on for 75% of the time. It’s probably the best $45 we ever spent.
He has been taking some anti inflammatory pills prescribed by his doctor. I’m so proud of him. He’s such a good sport.
