A Nice Walk ( with photos )

Today we went to the Celtic Shore for a walk.
It’s 20 degrees Celsius with partial sun.
We walked 4 kilometres. We saw a family of three before we started our walk. Here are some pictures of our walk.

These are cow birds. Cow birds used to follow cattle when they first originated. They’d pick seeds out of cow dung which was their main way of eating. Since they followed the cows they didn’t have time to care for their babies so they’d find small nests to dump their eggs making it another birds responsibility to raise and care for their young. They still do this even though they no longer follow cows.

That was really interesting about the cow birds. 😊

This is a stormwater catchment …( Same area as top photo ) ….

sadly ..it was once a smelly swampy dumping site for industries water waste

The open ocean…..Glenelg beach … is just behind the homes on the left of photo

We did a 4 km walk after lunch right around the “Pat “
