Is this just a query asked out of curiosity, or is someone on this forum actually bothering-harassing-stalking you? If so I believe Matrix would straighten out that person, without hesitation..

but I've had a few really bad experiences in the past, and thought/hoped a block feature would prevent similar occurrences here, not only for myself but in general.
Sorry, if the forum software doesn’t support it, I’d rather not implement it. It could introduce too many unexpected issues.
For example, if someone starts a thread but a specific member is unable to reply, that would feel quite unreasonable. I can easily think of many similar problems.
