A question for my tea drinking friends

What kind of tea do you drink ? I always loved the tea in Chinese restaurants . I could drink it straight with no milk or sugar and it was delicious ! Since I don't know which tea to buy , I drink Lipton. By the time I'm done adding milk and sugar to it , it's not even tea anymore !
Any suggestions ?

I'm no help. The only tea I like is iced tea. I've tried so many hot teas and they are all just nasty, haha. Good luck!!

I love the Chinese tea as well. When I do drink I like herbal like chamomile. I hear that if you go to some natural food places you can find catnip tea...which has the opposite effect on humans than on cats. While it is a stimulant for our kitty friends, humans find it relaxing.

I just hope now people do not start worrying about putting things in the "wrong" forum.

For hot tea, I like either a Darjeeling or a lapsang souchong.

For iced tea, I like a golden-tipped Assam that I buy by the pound at Amazon.

Tazo or Stash, any kind. Other brands of tea mess with my stomach.

I don't use milk or sugar and I generally buy whatever brand of strong black tea is on sale at the market.

I also keep a small box of Constant Comment in the cupboard. It is good hot or cold and makes a pleasant change.
