Hello, I'm trying to find a way to share crafts. I have done some woodworking, metalsmithing and such.
You could photograph them and post them on sites like FaceBook, Flickr, or Instagram. If you want to display them first hand you might try a local crafts fair that meets every Saturday or every other weekend in your location. Also, you might try to find groups who specialize in doing a particular craft like woodworking and join them. They usually hold display sessions so others who do the same can enjoy their work and share experiences. Good luck.I'm trying to find a way to share crafts. Thank you. I will direct my projects there. Many of mine also involve a bit of metalsmithing.I started this thread back in October if you'd like to share your creations with us there:
Wood Working Projects - Big or Small
I hope you all understand, I created these as artistic pieces when I was metalsmithing. 25 years ago.I'd much rather be shot than stabbed; I'd much rather shoot and not stab. Stabbing is too up close in your face, too insane.

Hi Patty, I have shared pix my knives and a handmade guitar in previous posts in this thead. I have tried to work in many mediums. Wood, metal, poetry. music, printing. As they say, a jack of all trades, master of none.Share them for others to see what you are doing or share them to sell.
You could share them with us here. Iām a crafter also and so is my husband.
Letās see what you do?
Nice job. I assume you started with manufactured bar steel. What thickness, do you remember?Handmade switchblade, 13" with a walnut handle, nickel silver bolsters, mother of pearl button. The blade is 1095 carbon steel. It's about 23 years old. Works as well as the day I finished it. Opens fast!

I worked in 1095, which can lend itself to a high carbon blade with a great edge for a dagger, sword and an excellent spring for a switchblade. Sometimes I started with store bought bars, other times I would work with automobile leaf springs. Much more affordable, but essentially the same material.Nice job. I'm not an artist or craftsperson, really. I do utilitarian work for repairing machinery here on our place, or constructing some useful thing we need. MIG for most of that, O/A for heat forming or brazing.
