Highway Through Hell airs on the Discovery Canada Channel. But I watch it here in the US on the Weather Channel. Older episodes are also on Netflix.
The show follows big rig tow truck operators in Canada..I think up north (for our Canada friends, they mention "The Cok" highway a lot) They mainly handle larger tow jobs, especially the big semi trucks. In the winter is awful on the highway, and when a storm hits, all hell can break loose. Rigs off the road, in ditches, jack knifed. In one episode I saw recently a rig had jack knifed and the trailer was totally turned over...wheels in the air. Took them hours to get it righted.
They can be on the road for hours, days at a time if the storms are bad. It is sure a dangerous job.
