A refreshing drink...

Has anyone had...Masala Chia tea....a black tea with a variety of spices,
such as cardamon, black pepper , ginger, cloves, nutmeg, mace & star anise.

All these spices enhance the tea's antioxidant and antiinflammatory properties.
It is traditionally brewed with whole milk and sugar.

I'd like to try..as it "sounds" delicious! šŸ¤—

I don't care for milk and tea. But I'm a tea hound for both hot and iced.

I always blend my teas. The iced one I drink most often is Black, Earl Grey, Ginger, and a little Turmeric. For hot tea I mostly like yerba with a little sugar and citrus or pomegranate. Iced hibiscus tea with a little honey is super refreshing, especially in summer.

@Jace, I’ve had it and it was delicious as a treat when made in an East Indian cooking class. Try it in an Indian restaurant before investing in all these spices. I’d never have again because I only drink black, unsweetened tea on the rare occasion I drink it.

Love chai… milky latte or clear. Had peach tea while in vacation that was cold chai with peach in it… delicious and refeshing! I’m going to figure out how to make it at home

I drink black teas every day. I love iced peach teas any time!! I'll try yours! I do get seasonal samplers from the tea shop.

And I enjoy flavored coffee and Starbucks ⭐

I used to drink Dr Pepper and Pepsi but my belly says no more bubbles.

Love chai, always have it at Indian restaurants when we feel like having curries!

There's a cafe that is unfortunately quite far from us, where they make their own chai blend with whole spices. Lots of green cardamom which we love. I get their iced chai latte whenever we visit the area.

Here in the San Francisco Bay Area you can also get a coffee chai.

The Ethiopian/Eritrean community is very large in our town. They drink a very similar tea but with sugar, not always using dairy.

I first had it in an Indian restaurant. It was soo good. I tried many purchased tea bags to try to get the same flavor, but could not for a long time. I then came across a box of tea bag that was almost right. I found that using 2 of those in each cup came very close.delicious
