It must have been top-heavy! In 1968 I put together a '64 Ford Falcon street gasser with a cross-bolt 427. I had a difficult time keeping the front wheels on the ground.

You didn't have a hard time keeping the front wheels on the ground, Verisure, you just had the front end jacked up to high and couldn't see over the hood very well.

I knew a guy here in town who told me he was going to put in his last will and testament to be driven to the cemetery in a convertible "with the top down"! I haven't seen him in 30 years. I wonder if he still feels the same?

That's not a Jaguar. Is it? It looks more like a stretched Vauxhall or Humber.

I can't remember the model name, but the car dates back to 1990. It was at a time when Jaguar had acquired Daimler. This model might be a Daimler, whatever it is, it makes a statement. Not my kind of exit carriage, but there you go.

Yes! Almost certainly a Daimler. I'd bet on it.

Gorgeous colour!

Can't believe people chance parking such beautiful vehicles among other regular ordinary vehicles, vehicles where the drivers have no respect for other peoples property and swing and fling open the doors of their cars into other vehicles carelessly and inconsiderately, or run their shopping carts into them out of jealousy.

If I had a nice car I'd walk a mile to avoid parking next to others.

You can't see it from the photo I took but it was parked pretty much as far away from the entrance to Biltema for the very reason you mention.
