The summer of 1967 was the dead center of the sudden explosion of Counterculture and these were two of the long (6:49 minute) AOR songs that brought it there, Vanilla Fudge, You Keep Me Hanging On along with Light My Fire (7:10 minutes) by The Doors. Both incredibly unique and musically strong, they will represent that era forever.

I knew Sally way back in the early 70's.. just after they had their massive hits because the band was from my city..... she was older than me by about 10 years... but she's still singing to this day
