A Special Day Today

My last post regarding our good fortune is the fact that of our whole extended family, all live within a two hour drive from our home with the exception of one grandson and his wife.

They reside on the west coast but still maintain connections to the rest of the family . They fly East every few years and some of our younger folks fly West.

Wow! Thats a lot of kids. Do you ever get to see them all at the same time or would that just be too much? I know some people have once a year get togethers to make sure they keep in touch. They rent some space for the special occasion and have pictures taken.
 
Wow, what an incredible heartwarming story. Just by going on that blind date resulted in 70 years of marriage to a wonderful woman and being blessed with an amazing and still growing family. That is a legacy incredibly few will ever experience, and not only that, but marriages of that length don't just happen by accident. It's obvious that you both have discovered what it takes to forge such an enduring and rewarding bond. Your family is indeed fortunate to have such role models.
