A Suspicious Email From USPS

It looks very, very official. It claims I owe $2.99 in shipping costs. It gives a tracking number for this order. I went on their website USPS.com and that tracking number does not exist. The email asks for name & address verification. So beware of something similar if it comes your way.

Thanks for the reminder. These scammers are getting better all the time.

I have gotten one like that as well. The scams never end do they?

My hubby keeps getting a email saying Australia post has a parcel with his name on it
but they can’t read the address and to please fill in the attached form and pay the holding fee cost.

Well that’s odd  because we live in a small country town and our neighbour delivers our parcels, so our neighbour must have forgotten our name :ROFLMAO:

We might be old but we are not silly YET :D

I keep getting emails also saying I have a package that I need to claim and pay for. I alerted the local post office and they made a record of it. They said to call the police as they are keeping records of the email addresses etc to make a case against the scammers. I guess I need to do it but I will call them first to see if its true.

Report it to their Scam/Fraud section, I do with any
that I receive, I have no idea if they ever catch anybody,
but they all have return Email Addresses on them.

Mike.
