Or
Caterpillar tree, Indian bean tree, cigar tree

Each June, it blooms with a fragrant white flower;
Later during the Summer, bean pods form.

Anyone have on their property?

I don't have one in my yard, but across the street is there is one. There are lots of them around here.

I have two catalpa trees, planted about 30 years ago by my parents.
The bean pod messiness issue isn't that big of a deal........if they're on the ground when I mow, I just rake them up. I've accepted that it's just part of the deal that comes with living here.
