Hope this is the correct place for this?

Watched a program last night about life high in the Himalaya [as the narrator pronounced it].

To cut to the chase...For example...The people are IMO amazing. The kids go to school just three hours p/day but.......to get there....they cross a gorge several hundred feet deep, using a zip-line basket! The program showed them getting into the basket, letting go of the starting side, riding down to the 'belly' / sag of the line, then pulling themselves 'up' the other side hand-over-hand!....Let all that sink in for a while....Go to school , then go home n the same fashion . No matter the season/weather !

Then there is the snake....that lives @ the [I believe] 24,000 ft altitude . Lives in and thrives in the hot spring that bubbles up from the mountain itself . Due to it being a cold blooded animal, if it ventures out of the spring...it will freeze to death...fairly quickly. So......the same spring that provides it both food & warmth....life. Is also it's prison as it cannot survive out of it. The snake is found @ no other altitude , only there.

Snakes are egg layers ? I believe?....so this is a true [in this case] snake & egg question. Which came first ? & How did it get there in the first place?..........Fascinating !

Hard to find good TV these days...This was one program that indeed was......jmo.
